Right. Let's get this party started. It is the month of May, which means it is officially WHISKY MONTH! Yes, it is actually a 'thing' because Visit Scotland says it is; please click the link below.
That means the two of us have reached our busiest time of the year and due the physical and mental toll that the chaos of May actually takes on us . . . we want to talk about it!
We are preparing for a number of wonderful things this month, starting with our performance at Letham Nights this weekend with The Coal Porters. It has been some time since we have played at this absolutely wonderful event and we have longed to return all of that time because it is just so fantastic in every way. Next up after that is our first and only Pledgemusic event on the 19th of May, which is none other than World Whisky Day; we are so totally excited by this whole thing because it could not have been planned for any better a day than this! As well as celebrating the water of life we have other food and drink officials in the line up! We also finally get the chance to be face to face in a lovely intimate atmosphere with some of those who have supported the crowdfunding campaign for our next album (which we have now started recording)! This event is just going to be an absolute belter and quite rightly so; we want to reward people for their support and the lucky ticket holders have a real treat in store! Check out what's happening!

As if that wasn't enough for us to contend with . . . there's the tour. Yes, our annual 'A Whisky For The Road' tour has taken yet another turn this year by making sure we get to visit some old places as well as new! This tour also comes complete with an eight hour stint at Laphroaig Distillery; 'oaft' is a word that comes to mind. We are also delighted to be making our first visit to the Scottish Series to perform and see some boat racing on our way to our gig in Campbeltown. The tour has a lot of twists and turns and ends on an absolute high with a performance at FyneFest in Cairndow; what a perfect wee stop on the way home and to take us into June!
