Best of The West Festival is probably one of, if not, the very best festivals we have performed at during our career and we are ecstatic to have been asked back to the Loch Fyne Whisky Stage again this year not only to fill the headline spot on the Friday at 8.45pm . . . we'll also be performing on the Sunday at 4.00pm. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH! We will make sure that you are all suitably warmed up for the main acts on the Campbell Stage too folks!

Full of fine people and even finer produce, the festival celebrates locality in the absolutely stunning backdrop that features Inveraray Castle and Loch Fyne; it is classy, incredibly well organised and the atmosphere is cool, calm and content. Some of the best local food producers appear at the festival along with some of the country's top chefs who deliver presentations and workshops each day. Not only that . . . it features some of Scotland's finest music and they again have not disappointed with their line up! The festival is a whole day longer again this time too due to having a belter of a headliner each night; this year it is Tide Lines, Donnie Munro and Skipinnish! As well as these great acts there is a whole host of other fantastic music over the course of the day on both the Campbell and Loch Fyne Whisky stages . . . something for literally everyone! Importantly enough, there is a well-stocked bar with some cracking and banterous bar staff too and enough culinary delights as far as the eye can see to make sure you are well satiated.

We also look forward to stopping off at Lord of The Isles on the way to see the lovely Wil and Molly; we will also be taking our dear pal Amy out on the road for her first shift as our roadie! Woo hoo!

Pledgemusic

Phase one of our album recording is officially complete and is being packaged off to some rather talented musicians for them to add their flavour to it; really excited to hear how they turn out! We have developed a rather swish idea for the artwork so now it is about getting to work on putting it together; we give thanks to the Rip It up: The Story of Scottish Pop for helping develop the idea!

If you would like to receive updates about and be a part of the making of this album you can make a pledge here; you will be able to access all previous updates that include audio, video and picture material that is only being made exclusively available to those who support our project. In joining our community of pledgers you would also be helping to raise funds for the Scottish Society for Mental Health.

Split

Before we go, we would like to share three things from the past month of our lives that we have found to be useful; you might also be able to find value in them in some way!

CRAFT BEER EXPERIENCE. Yes, we like our beer and we won't apologise.
PITLESSIE VILLAGE INN. A brilliant authentic and fresh pub grub venue in Fife.
BREAK THE TWITCH. A cool guy who can help make people more effective.
