What a month it has been! We have been from pillar to post performing live gigs. One of the most memorable trips we have taken recently, though, is to Portmahomack. We were made to feel so welcome in the sleepy little village we ended up in; it was as though we had known everybody up there for most of our lives and it made the trip so special! We performed to a packed out Carnegie Hall and had right old shindig at the local pub afterwards; we cannot wait to visit again in the future! Perthshire Amber Music Festival is around the corner and we are delighted to have been welcomed back to the Butterstone team. We will be performing two shows (detailed in our live dates section below) both of which are sold out, however, we will be putting a session or two together in one or perhaps all of the four session venues around Dunkeld; we can't wait for this and after the joys of the epic eleven hour event at The Taybank last year! What a riot it was! Click here to check out the festival's website for details on what's what! One more thing we would like to do is extend a huge thank you to those of you who helped us get over the 100 subscribers mark at YouTube to be able to claim our URL; we are now much more confident about bringing you more content in the New Year! We have had the absolute pleasure of fulfilling two house concerts this month and for some reason, both had a focus on whisky! Ha ha ha! It has been so nice spending time with such wonderful people and creating such special night's in for the hosts and their friends and family. One of the house concerts was centred around raising fund for Maggie's Fife; we will post a separate blog about that in due course because there is so much content from the night! We are starting to get to the stage where the availability of certain items at our Pledgemusic Store is low; the rewards we have had on offer have been very popular indeed! We'd like to feature one of those items here for you as it is one of the best rewards we have that can be purchased.
Our album is available for pre-order on digital, CD and vinyl formats, however, we feel this is one of the rewards offered that is the best value for money; it gives a whole bunch of goodies for a very reasonable price. Not only do pledgers receive what is listed, they gain exclusive access to our updates; we have provided twenty four of them so far that have included lyrics, audio, images and video. There is an abundance of material that only our pledgers will have access to, except for the couple of occasions where we let our wider audience in too. See one of our most recent updates HERE.
If you would like to receive updates about and be a part of the making of this album you can make a pledge here; you will be able to access all previous updates that include audio, video and picture material that is only being made exclusively available to those who support our project. In joining our community of pledgers you would also be helping to raise funds for the Scottish Society for Mental Health.
